I had commented yesterday on my everyday journal that I outlined my stories. And I realize that outlining is not for everybody. The writing process and how we all work with it is different for all of us. For me-it involves a process that has two parts I can't live without, research and outlining.

So let's talk about outlining and why I use it.

I've recently signed a contract with Kensington Books. Lyrical, the ePub that had Lost and Found was sold to them at the beginning of the year and I was offered a contract for the book. Finally got VN2 up to submission grade thanks mostly to my friend who is always there to help me out. So I turned it into my editor who is delighted to finally have her hands on it  We'll see if the delight holds out. Oy.

Sorry crickets, I know I haven't updated here in a while. I've been throwing all my energy into finishing VN2. And it's with delight I can say that the rough draft is now completed and I'm now starting clean up, tweaks and some minor over writes here and there. I updated and reworked my website just a bit. It's not fantastic but it's not quite as bad either. It'll do until I can get back to it, probably in January sadly. My graphic artist gave me a signed version of the banner, I updated my greeting and I finally moved Lost and Found off my Gwenna Projects page onto a new page called Current Releases.

I've been out of town, visiting a friend over the long holiday weekend. The one nice thing about that is, I usually can and do get a lot of writing done. I wouldn't say I got a lot of writing done this time, but I got a lot accomplished. I know it doesn't make sense, but trust me, I did.

I've got no less than three novels going on right now. VN2 (Nate and Ian), Melody Blue (Holly and Dennis) and Then and Now (Mark and Josh sequel). On top of this, I bought new web design software back at the beginning of June and haven't touched it since. I need to completely re-do my author website as it's such a mess now.

The Liberty Belle- a fully restored B17 Bomber from WWII is here in town and I'm going to go see her this weekend! How amazing is that? My WWII novel is based around a B17 I've named Melody Blue and I can't wait for a chance to go see this one and get pictures.

My line edits came back a few days ago on Lost and Found. They are a little intense so I've once again made the decision to back burner VN2 and my various other Gwenna Projects. Actually I've decided to keep it back burnered, regrettably, until L&F is through the entire editing process.
